  • I chose SC.K2.CS-CC.1.2 which is the kindergarten level. This standard shows how to conduct basic words into searches and to exchange information and feedback to other students and teachers. I feel very prepared to implement this standard into my classroom because I am very skilled in tools like text messaging, WhatsApp, outlook, gmail, yahoo, etc. I feel prepared to teach my students these skills because mail is used to easily relay important messages to their students, parents and the school staff. Also, report cards and school assignments can be easily and quickly submitted through these networks
  • I chose MA.2.AR.1.1, which is a mathematics resource for 2nd grade. The resource is to solve one- and two-step addition and subtraction real-world problems. Addition and subtraction is crucial to understand because it is essential for day to day life. I would teach some of my students addition and subtraction by using websites like Cool Math Games, using flashcards with an equation on one side and the answer on the other through Quizlet, and by counting out physical objects like raisins, blueberries, or legos.
  • Internet searching is using search engines to answer questions that happen in your day to day life. It is proficient to be an internet searcher as a teacher because when teachers want to figure out the answers to something it allows them to quickly and easily find information that is of genuine interest or value, without the need to wade through numerous irrelevant web pages. I will think I will start using the Google advanced search tool that helps you better find the information that you are really looking for.  Some Internet searching skill you can use that was not introduced is basically just using key words in the search engine that will directly guide you to answers you need as fast as possible.
