   I just started using Microsoft Word during Summer B of this year. During high school, I liked using Google Docs because I could share it with the people in my group and we could work on it together. Since using Microsoft Word I really like it and I think it is easy to use. They're definitely some features I am not familiar with yet, but I am still getting used to it. I have to say I like using Microsoft Word now just because it is easy, everyone at the university uses it, and there are a lot of cool features. 

   The Leader Educator Standard is most meaningful for me because I think it is very important for educators to seek out opportunities for leadership to support student empowerment and success and to improve teaching and learning. It is important for educators to do this because it helps students shape and advance a vision for empowered learning with technology. This also important because it helps students adopt new resources and tools for learning. All of these ideas educate students on new opportunities and to meet the diverse needs of each student.

   I definitely agree with the term "digital native" for todays youth. Being a "digital native" means a person born or brought up during the age of digital technology and therefore familiar with computers and the internet from an early age. I definitely see the difference with how familiar digital natives are with technology versus digital immigrants. Tons of teachers I know have had to ask the students for help on using the whiteboard or sending us assignments. Seeing this firsthand has shown me that everyone has to know how to use technology no matter what profession. Technology is so important now, that if you don't know how to use it you are going to struggle. Differences I will anticipate between me and my future students in terms of how I use technology is I will know how to use the basics and more and then be able to teach my students skills on the computer and show them visual aids for them to better understand ideas.
